Now
in its sixth year, Tower Grove Pride is better than ever. No longer content just to dominate South Grand Boulevard, this year the celebration expanded into Tower Grove Park, giving attendees plenty of space and leafy green shade. The party featured burlesque, drag shows, and a selection of musical performances, including bands, solo performers and DJs.
Tower Grove Pride consciously offers an alternative to the bigger PrideFest in downtown St. Louis, and despite its growing size, it's remained a real community event, with entire families coming out to celebrate, including kids and plenty of dogs. A wide selection of activities and indulgences kept everyone out and celebrating in the mild weather. There was CityWide beer in Pride cans, giant lawn Jenga, axe-throwing, a huge Connect Four board, photo booths, a variety of foods and, of course, the famous Tower Grove Pride rainbow-hued boozy slushie.
Happy Pride, everybody!
