Narwhal's Crafted
(3906 Laclede Avenue, 314-696-8388)
"These guys KILL the frozen drink game. Their drinks aren't a "gimmick," or packed with cheap liquor, they are well-thought out and crafted with the best ingredients. One of my favorites is the Hibiscus G&T, which has no added sugar! Soooooooo good. If you are a first timer, I recommend a flight! I still get them every time, because they are always adding new drinks to the menu." - Mary D. via Yelp

Taste Bar
(4584 Laclede Avenue, 314-361-1200)
"Taste frequently updates their drink offerings, which is awesome if you love trying new cocktails. Unfortunately, it's sad to see your favorite drinks disappear from the menu over time. My final verdict? Taste is the perfect destination for trying creative, unique and high-end cocktails. You won't find drinks like these anywhere else." - Mary D. via Yelp

Broadway Oyster Bar
(736 S. Broadway, 314-621-8811)
"They've got live music most nights of the week playing on a stage next to their outdoor patio, which is awesome. Unfortunately it was raining when we visited, so no tunes for us. Once seated at a hightop, we got a couple of cocktails (a Hurricane for me, a Broadway Blooze for her). At $8 each, they were fruity and fairly strong. Our waiter was super busy and there were some lapses in service, but nothing too worrisome." - Eric S. via Yelp

The Gramophone
(4243 Manchester Avenue, 314-531-5700)
"ProTip: if you like craft beers get the BREWLETTE. FOR 3$. It saves a couple buck but it is like roulette. You get something you don't know and neither does the Tender. It is usually an expensive craft beer that they are just moving to make room in the inventory. So they sell it at almost cost. Get what you want but if you like to explore and are up for adventure. This is a good time." - Justin S. via Yelp

Retreat Gastropub
(2 N. Sarah Street, 314-261-4497)
"A gastropub located on the edge of Central West End, I first came here when it opened and every year I find myself here several times because there is something for everyone. Venice Cafe
(1903 Pestalozzi Street, 314-772-5994)
"Awesome, eclectic must stop to unwind, refresh and recharge. A great place to get away from the city feel and escape. The small bar is just enough and the crowd is friendly. I wish all of the spaces were open at the time of our visit, but certain sections are closed off seasonally." - Rachel L. via Yelp

Bridge Tap House and Wine Bar
(1004 Locust Street, 314-241-8141)
"As I explore places to eat and drink around town, this place has been my favorite so far. Moving here from NY, I have been somewhat spoiled by great places to grab a bite or sip a beer or glass of wine. Not only did they have a nice selection of beer and wine, but the food was really good too. This is a great place for a date out or to bring out of town friends and family to. I hope to be back soon." - Daniel S. via Yelp

The Whiskey Ring
(2651 Cherokee Street, 314-669-5817)
"Wow. Great example of what a bar should be. Friendly at tenders and great choice of beers and spirits. The bourbon selection is pretty good. Many staples but many unique brands. Their prices are very reasonable. Actually the best prices for their whiskies. Highly recommend his bar." - Amit K. via Yelp

Amsterdam Tavern
(3175 Morganford Road, 314-772-8224)
"Fantastic is the one word I'd use to describe everything about Amsterdam! Cozy inside, huge outdoor area, ice cold local drafts and an adjacent burger joint makes this bar a stand out. I don't come up for the soccer madness but everyone seems to have a blast regardless of how many people are packed in. Staff and customers are always friendly and it's a chill place for an end of evening drink on Morganford. A+." - Heather D. via Yelp

4 Hands Brewing
(1220 S. 8th Street, 314-436-1559)
"Such a cute little brewery! There is nothing better than a local brewery and this one did not disappoint. The building is well kept, clear instructions about how to order, where to sit, etc. Husband ordered the cast iron, which he really liked, me the full life lager. We also got whitefish dip with a pretzel and it was bomb. We also ordered the Moscow mule smoother and that was also bomb!" - Maci S. via Yelp

The Waiting Room Bar & Venue
(10419 St. Charles Rock Road, 314-890-8333)
"Best damn punk bar in all of North County! Pinball, friendly assholes, lotsa beer, and the atmosphere of the comfiest old basement you've ever been in, complete with kickass music. They're selling the joint soon, but god willing they'll keep things nice and weird. It's a refreshing change from the endless stream of crappy taverns with racist old men complaining about things have changed and the overpriced soulless change that spit on ya if you don't order a 9 dollar basket of microwaved mozzarella sticks." - Aaron W. via Yelp

Parlor
(4170 Manchester Avenue, 314-833-4999)
"I've stopped into Parlor a couple times with friends. Inside has a mixture of video games, pinball, and skeeball. Outside there is a patio area. Overall it is a nice vibe and I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of an 80's arcade but with beer. The drinks are on the pricier side, and it is better for mixed drinks than beer." - Brian G. via Yelp

(405 N. Euclid Avenue, 314-449-1742)
"Date night (extra special) and we killed it! We still have plenty of token lefts and we each had a blast! The pinball machines were our favorite. On Sundays they give you a Super sweet fanny pack with a special for beer too! This was my first time here and his third. They had so many different areas to explore too! Parking in a nearby parking lot was cheap and they had on street parking too." - Eleni B. via Yelp

They were taking some stuff down. I'll have to come by when they're playing music because that would deff add to the experience." - Aaron B. via Yelp

Colorado Bob's Ship of Fools
(3457 Morganford Road, 314-772-7564)
"Arg me mateys. What's a pirates favorite letter? Well you think it's Rrr but it's really the C. In this case it stands for Colorado Bob's. Choppy waters brought my ship to this port. After I dropped anchor at this burried treasure on Morganford I traded my sea legs for captain Cecil. I bellied up to the bar and had a yo ho ho and a bottle of rum. After a while I had to swab the poop deck and the bathrooms were clean and inviting. The ambiance was a welcome change from the black sails of my past and if you have dablooms to spare X marks the spot on the touch tunes." - Stephen B. via Yelp
