We all met up at Mollys in Soulard to celebrate oysters, community and the oyster-eating community. There were craft cocktails using Altos Tequila Olmeca, Bowmore Single Malt Scotch and Effen Vodka; beer courtesy of O'Fallon Brewery and Urban Chestnut; live music; food from BLK MKT Eats, the Kitchen Sink, J Smug's GastroPit, BARcelona Tapas, Thai 202, the Mad Crab, Capitalist Pig and Good Buddy's; and, of course, lots and lots of slurping. We didn't let a little rain stop us from having a shucking great time on Sunday at our "Shuck Yeah!" event. If anything, it just brought us all closer together.
