After 21 years in the bar business, legendary queer bar JJ's Clubhouse (3858 Market Street) announced its closure earlier this month. The club had a controversial run, as writer Elizabeth Van Winkle noted in an essay, but it also had plenty of fans. The club wasn't going to close without one final celebration, though, and we were there for its last party.
