Adoptable St. Louis Dogs Met with Nutcracker Ballerinas and It Gave Us Feelings

This endearing photo shoot is sure to pull at your heartstrings. These adoptable dogs from Stray Rescue got to meet (and even dance) with performers from The St. Louis Ballet. Dancers and Dogs turned the shelter into a "wonderland of magic" where many sweet (and lonely) adoptable pups got to meet with some of St. Louis' greatest dancers. Kelly Kreidich of Pratt + Kreidich, the phototography team behind the project, said, “It's special to know that our work might bring more attention to dogs (and cats) that deserve a second chance at a happy and comfortable life. And if we can bring a smile to people's faces at the same time, all the better." In addition to the snuggle buddies that are featured (Benton Park, Anise, Sweet Potato, Queenie, and The Fixer Upper puppies), the rescue organization has hundreds of other adoptable animals hoping to find their forever homes. The generous St. Louis Ballet will also make a donation to Stray Rescue for every ticket sold to see their production of the Nutcracker at the Touhill (use promo code Muttcracker), so it's easy to give some love to your local stray population while enjoying this holiday season. Or, you know, bring one of these little guys home. Look at these sweet pictures. How could you not?
