Donald Trump came to St. Louis today, speaking at a noon rally at the Peabody Opera House and receiving the endorsement of local gal about town Phyllis Schlafly. Our crackerjack team was in the House when protesters shut the place down for a full ten minutes, leaving Der Drumpf gasping for police action. (We also witnessed his bizarre praise of our football team.)
But it wasn't all protesters packing the Peabody Opera House. Some of your friends and neighbors stood in line for a very long time for the chance to get whipped into a patriotic frenzy by the Republican presidential candidate. We'll say this for Trump -- he truly has a sizable, and enthusiastic, following. Theo Welling was there to capture the action.
