At S.L.U.M. Fest 2016, the Midwest's Largest Hip-Hop Festival Took Over Cherokee Street

This Saturday, St. Louis hip-hop fans converged on 2720 Cherokee Street for S.L.U.M. Fest 2016, the largest hip-hop festival in the Midwest. Now in its seventh year, the event featured dozens of DJs, MCs, break dancers and live artists, all jam-packed into a tight twelve-hour time span. Photographer Steve Truesdell to the event to capture the highlights. Here are some of our favorite photos from the fest.
