Check Out the Weird Purple Bedroom in the Mansion of the Former Kansas City Royals Owner

David Glass died earlier this year and his Kansas City mansion is now on sale. This businessman had some bucks, okay. Owning the Kansas City Royals and serving as their CEO was just his side gig. Glass was also the president and chief executive officer of a little shop called Walmart.

Now you can own his Kansas City mansion, which we must say, is fairly understated for a man of such extreme wealth… except for the weird purple bedroom.

It’s like everything else in the house is beige and classy and then there’s a rich old guy’s version of Prince’s boom boom room. That purple velvet blanket has probably seen some things.

Was David Glass getting freaky up in there? I guess we’ll never know.

In any case, the house is a tasteful and modest mansion with four bedrooms and just four and a half bathrooms. It’s 7,722 square feet and includes nice design details like wrought-iron staircases and three large terraces.

The house is just seven miles west of Kauffman Stadium and includes a three car garage.
