The Contemporary Art Museum probably isn't one of the first places you think to go in St. Louis for a concert. But maybe, just maybe, you should change your thinking. Electronic-pop artist Peaches performed a sold-out show at CAM Sunday night, wearing a wardrobe created by Paris-based artist Charlie le Mindu in honor of the Charlie Would... exhibition at Project + Gallery -- and believe us, it's a show that will not be easily forgotten. Combining European club styles, drag culture and haute couture, Le Mindu creates lavish sculptures and performance art -- he even uses artificial hair in his work (aka "haute coiffure"). See some of his work -- and Peaches' performance -- right here.
