Black Pride Festival Celebrated the LGBTQ Community in the Grove on Sunday

St. Louis celebrated the black LGBTQ community with Black Pride Weekend this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The three days of events included a reception at the Missouri History Museum, Black Pride Day at Six Flags, an All White After Party at the Blue Pearl (2336 Cherokee Street) and a brunch at Atomic Cowboy (4140 Manchester Avenue), ​followed by the flagship Black Pride Festival on Sunday in the Grove.

RFT was at the Black Pride Festival to document​ ​the festivities, ​which included a parade, music and drag show. The event also included a prayer and the singing of the Black American National Anthem. Check it all out right here.
