You can also get breakfast burritos (the "South of the Border" burrito is pictured) and omelettes at Benton Park Cafe. But for hangover purposes specifically, we recommend the BP Slinger. This isn't your ordinary biscuits and gravy; this is two beer biscuits topped with eggs over-easy, cheese, bacon and housemade gravy. If you have to wait, just go to the bar and order a mimosa or Bloody Mary. The wait will be worth it. Photo by Mabel Suen.

The grease and fat battle with the alcohol and dehydration, leaving your body in balance. The perfect reason to indulge in Chuck-a-Burger, if we do say so ourselves. Here we have the chili cheese chuck with curly fries. Photo courtesy of Yelp / Kitty W.

Watch the Quincy Street Bistro Facebook and Twitter, where each "Kegs and Eggs" is announced. The menu is different at each one, but you can guarantee that the carbs will be plentiful and that your meal will be paired with a local craft beer. Photo by Jennifer Silverberg.

We also recommend Southwest Diner's New Mexican Breakfast Burrito, a flour tortilla stuffed with scrambled eggs, green chile, cheese and home fries. For some extra flair (and $2 more), add calabacitas, chorizo, ham, sausage, bacon or turkey bacon. You can also get it covered with green or red sauce. If your hungover self can't make decisions, ask for "Christmas," which is half of each sauce. Photo by Jennifer Silverberg.

As a combination Korean restaurant/greasy spoon, U-City Diner won't do you wrong. Our restaurant listing says it best: "...it's all hot, satisfying, damn cheap and made right in front of you, so just shut up and eat." RFT photo.

We have to admit, the atmosphere at The Buttery helps a bit, too. Somehow the grimy splendor and crusty clientele of a 24/7 diner interact somewhat magically to lessen the hangover ugliness. RFT photo.

Order up the traditional Benedicts, made with house-smoked pork loin. A Bloody Mary made with Spirit of St. Louis Vodka is a necessity, too. Oh, and a cinnamon roll. Can't forget one of those. Photo by Aimee Levitt.

The new spring menu has decadent dishes such as "Escargot and Frites" and the "North Beach Cioppino" (pictured). And in the brunch department, Feast Magazine reports that the Libertine will present a "hangover-curing" Sunday brunch service this summer. We're so there. Photo courtesy of the Libertine.
